The choice to paint and work the dance was born from the passion for various themes.
First of all, human anatomy. The human body is an enormously beautiful mechanism that we use and live with to develop ourselves in this world. That is why I have always felt a great affinity with works, studies and works of various genres that aim to deepen the knowledge of the human body and with the learning of applied morphological anatomy.
All this to tell something, an essence, a transcendental soul in the form of resounding dance steps that have the wonderful dance of tango as their flag.
From small sketches on pieces of paper, to watercolors and precise anatomical studies that are more mathematical than artistic, they make a sum that leads us in an inexorable way to the collection of tango as a means of expression of the human being and his body.
On the other hand, one can appreciate my love for the watercolor technique; those four drops and light semitransparent spots that embrace the paper, flooding with four brushstrokes a space to count and represent an external soul. This same philosophy is applied in these paintings.
This collection is not made with watercolor, they have been made with acrylic and oil, but the way of thinking is what I mean. I face the painting and its representation with the watercolor mentality, although applying another material.
Finally, the collection of "red trees" has a great influence on these works. The said collection represents a tree with a deep density of red leaves in a wasteland where there is nothing around. In some paintings the tree is represented in the middle of snow. A barren landscape where only one being has life. The red source of passion and deep energy marks the main feature of these paintings.
All this to tell something, an essence, a transcendental soul in the form of resounding dance steps that have the wonderful dance of tango as their flag.
